Meralgia paresthetic: Is the numb patch on the upper front/side of thigh? It sounds like meralgia paresthetica. There is a little sensory nerve called lateral femoral cutaneous nerve that comes out from the pelvis area- if this gets crushed or irritated (maybe got sqeezed when she was jumping?) it can cause this burning. Also tight jeans, being pregnant, rapid weght gain or loss, can cause this. Should improve.
