About DVT: no: If the ultrasound is normal then the probability is low that there is clot. It is not out of the question that pain down the legs is from the back. Best way to see is with an MRI of the lumbar spine. Talk to your primary care doctor for a direction to go

Neg DVT; Rt Leg Pain: How long have you had the symptoms? Is your whole right leg involved or just one part (thigh vs calf)? Since your U/S was negative, you shouldn't be fearful. Short course of oral steroids (7 days) or Toradol (5 days) could help knock out this aching if your symptoms diffusely involve the whole right leg. If localized, to calf, might benefit from topical diclofenac gel instead of oral med.

Radiculopathy: Very well could be coming from the lower back. This is called RADICULOPATHY, or less specific: SCIATICA. After full exam, this is treated with rest, anti-inflamms (if tolerated/safe), and then physical rehab. If ineffective, then it is time for a lumbar spine MRI to see if there is something that can correlate with the specific right leg pain. Injections and rarely surgery are needed.
