Rule out sciatica: If recent doppler negative, this is unlikely to be a DVT. Absence of swelling is also a clue against DVT. Pain in back of right calf on thigh Can be RADICULOPATHY (old medical term is "sciatica" when it comes from the back of the thigh downward, but this is less specific). Can also be sciatic neuropathy from piriformis syndrome. Would need a complete and thorough history/exam.
