See Family Doc: Pain down the leg may be a nerve problem in the back such as sciatica. Leg pain and veins.: Leg pain can be due to many causes. A venous doppler ultrasound is a very good test to look for venous pathology. If this is normal then your discomfort may be due to other reasons such as sciatica or bone problems. You should see a medical physician for a full evaluation.
