Oxycontin & Anes: When you had your pre-op visit, did anyone talk with you about your med list? It should have come up that you are taking Oxycontin. It's not something that you can just stop unless you are at the lowest dose (10mg 1-2 daily) & have been taking it for a VERY short period of time. Try to taper down as much as you safely can do before your surgery. It will make things easier intra & post-op for you.
