Does preworkout have an effect on general anesthesia? i was reading the back of my prework out and it says stop taking 2 weeks prior to a surgery.

Impossible to say: Pre-workout supplements are many and have any number of components that vary from brand to brand. The best approach is to discontinue their use 1-2 weeks prior to surgery.

If you are talking-: -preworkout supplements, then I would follow the the written word. Some may cause unexpected side effects from the anesthetic drugs.
