Can't condone cannab: Oxycontin seems extreme for post-op pain from yesterday as it's typically intended for chronic pain, not acute pain. Given what is currently known about cannabis, it's impossible to condone its use for post-op pain. I suggest that you ask your orthopedic surgeon for other options to control your pain.

NO/post surgery care: Recovery is difficult. Follow your surgeons instructions, do not impair your chances to heal or your judgment. Some addictions are fueled by any opportunity to self inflict. Post surgical pain, does not make it okay to use an addiction. Be well.
