Pelvic congestion: Laxity of the pelvic floor will not be seen on the ultra sound and can cause these types of symptoms. Pelvic congestion can also cause these symptoms and not seen on an ultrasound. See your doctor and if not comfortable with there response seek a second opinion as these situations can be helped alot with proper treatments.

Chronic Muscle Spasm: Pelvic pain w. lying & sitting would implicate ligaments; as ground forces torque pelvic girdle. Muscles lose tone & mass secondary to disuse & chronic deconditioning. Pelvic discomfort w. standing implicates major muscle of postural support: transversus abdominis, ST, which "form closes" & stabilizes sacroiliac joints. Chronic ST muscle spasm/discomfort refers to mid-pelvis. Osteopath evaluation?
