Had hip labral repair last year. lateral groin pain now. feels like another tear. possible to tear in same hip 2nd time? can they scope hip twice?

Tears can recur: Labral tears can recur, especially if underlying cause of tear is not concomitantly addressed. Specifically, care needs to be taken to avoid leaving behind a bony prominence of the rim of the acetabulum (Pincer lesion) or a bony bump off the femoral head-neck junction (Cam lesion). A retorn labrum can often be repaired again or reconstructed with allograft tissue if needed during revision A'scope
