Tears can recur: Labral tears can recur, especially if underlying cause of tear is not concomitantly addressed. Specifically, care needs to be taken to avoid leaving behind a bony prominence of the rim of the acetabulum (Pincer lesion) or a bony bump off the femoral head-neck junction (Cam lesion).
