A member asked:

My blood test results are: hgb 10.8 mcv 77.4 serum ferritin 6 can you tell me what these mean and if i should be concerned?

Anemia: The low hemoglobin indicates that you have anemia and the other two values suggest that this is due to insufficient iron. Most often in a woman of your age this is due to menstrual blood loss. Iron supplementation or a higher iron content in your diet should allow you to recover and feel better.
