Lexapro (escitalopram): Fairly common side-effects, short duration & should ease up with time. Not sure what the dosage is, but I would recommend switching the timing of taking it, such as in a.m. instead of bedtime, or splitting the dose to lower one twice daily. Consult your doctor first.

INSOMNIA: Best to discuss medication & possible sleep study with your Psychiatrist. If uncomfortable with your Dr. consult another for a second opinion. Have a physical exam by a Dr. to determine if you have a physical illness. Consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy with ZOOM. Fears & anxiety could be heightened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe & hopeful to elevate your immune system.

Lexapro: It is a common side effect . Most side effects happen couple days after starting medication and depends on dose. It is recommended to take in the AM but you can switch for PM If persistent please see a doctor virtually or in person.
