A member asked:

Does voice get changed after adenoid removal in 5 year old boy as it is now 50 days after the operation and his voice not the same like before ?

Adenoidectomy : The voice is going to resonate differently with the adenoids out of the way. This is likely a permanent change and not anything to worry about. It can also still be a bit of post-op swelling that is not back to baseline yet, although that is not as likely 50 days out. Talk to ENT if persistent concerns.

Adenoids and voice: Yes as the adenoids can change your voice when they are very large.
