What is lung problem: As I understand it, these burn pits were toxic and affected eyes, lungs, skin, but most effects were temporary and eventually resolved. It is unclear whether burn pits caused chronic lung problems. First you need to see if you have a diagnosable lung disease: see a pulmonary specialist to see the status of your lung function/condition. Investigate The Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry.
