Clots ruled out: A dedicated ct angiogram looked at the heart first, but was likely done in a manor sufficient to rule out clots in the blood vessels of the lung. This would likely go with shortness of breath as well as pain. The abnormal esophagus and hiatal hernia sound like the most likely culprit. Suggest you read about these and gerd (gastro-esophageal reflux disease) before seeing your doc this week.
