Beware: Wellbutrin (bupropion) lowers seizure threshold. Current wisdom is that if you have ever had any seizures in the past, try something other than this medicine. There are a whole lot of safer anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, and ADD drugs out there. Do not risk your brain.

Not likely: Wellbutrin (bupropion) has been known to be related to increased seizures in people with past or present eating disorders. While one can never be entirely certain about, the effects of new medications, seizures are not a typical side effect. Stay in close touch with your doctor when starting, any new medication.
