What would cause a drastic drop in cholesterol levels? in oct of 17 my TC was 317 ( LDL was 240) . 2 months later Dec of 17 my TC was 172 (LDL was 120). I am not on statins nor has my diet drastically changed. I have dropped 20 lbs.
I'm 79, my cholesterol numbers are CHOLESTEROL, TOTAL 214, HDL CHOLESTEROL 50 ,TRIGLYCERIDES 115, LDL-CHOLESTEROL 141, CHOL/HDLC RATIO 4.3, NON HDL CHOLESTEROL 164 how bad is this, should i change my diet? Thank you?
24 y/o female. 130 pds. Bp always 100/60. No heart disease. Total CHL 226. HDL 65 LDL 150. Told to change diet, exercise more. Is that concerning?
Im 26, 56 & about 145 my bp is normal, entire lipid panel normal except for LDL cholesterol is 111 should I be concerned about this? Do I need to majorly change my diet or just make some tweaks & exercise more?
