How long does it take hemorrhoid band ligation to start working and helping?

Couple weeks: even though tissue and the band fall off with in 48 hrs or so, the results may take couple weeks to show. Also, most doctors will not do all hemorrhoids at once- too dangerous, so may need to repeat the procedure couple of times as well.

Will not see: effect till the tissue sloughs out and the site heals completely which is about 3 wks to 4 wks .
