Depends: Depends on the anatomy (size, location, number) of your hemorrhoids. For the right kind of hemorrhoids it is an excellent and easy solution, though not entirely risk free.

Soemtimes: It really depends on the characteristics of the hemorrhoid. When it is appropriate, it is a wonderful option - it's done right in the office, and only takes a few minutes. However, it does have size limitations and other factors that need to be considered. There are many ways to approach hemorrhoids. See a surgeon to get eval'd and see if you are an appropriate candidate.
