A member asked:

I'm having an ekg tomorrow, and i'm kind of nervous, especially since i'm pretty young. what can i expect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Echo/ecg: Both studies are performed with the patient lying on a table. The echo has ecg leads attached to the patient and the echo images are obtained by a probe moved around the chest by a technician. Neither test is uncomfortable or painful.
