A member asked:

Electrocardiogram (ekg) and the results where abnormal so now i have to go with a cardiologist, i'm very nervous, should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Specific findings?: Hard to say with out specific ECG findings, Computer generated reads prior to a cardiologist overread can be often wrong or overcalls, hence it should be read by a cardiologist. I see abnormal ECG consults in my office every week that simply require a correct interpretation of the previous ECG. I would wait until you hear what the cardiologist has to say, tough to answer the question.
