I'm one of the rare people who have an adverse reaction to diphenhydramine, it makes me anxious and shaky. is there any otc sleep aid other than melatonin that does not contain diphenhydramine?

Not known: Although other OTC antihistamines may cause some drowsiness, the effect/side effect profiles are quite different. I am not aware of any OTC med used. By the way, I just saw a patient last week having the same reactions to Benadryl (diphenhydramine).
