Thoughts: Scrotal swelling in a young male is not at all normal and needs to be looked at quickly. Possibilities include, cancer, epidydimitis, testicular torsion or a hernia. Please seek help as this is something that can be treated if caught early.

Hydrocele or Hernia?: Scrotal swelling on one side has been there for 1 year is either a Hydrocele and if it is reducible that is if it goes away when you put pressure on it or when lying down.Other possibility is Varicicele I suggest you have it checked by your Family Doctor as you may need surgery to correct it
