A member asked:

When i turn my head a certain way i get a sudden electric jolt into my fingers in both hands, why is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nerve impingement: may be occurring since it happens when you turn your head. The nerves exiting the neck are responsible for innervating the arms, hands and fingers. If these nerves get 'pinched' it can cause symptoms of electricity, tingling or numbness into the arms all the way to the fingers. If this is persisting, see your doctor who can order some imaging studies to determine the cause
