Usually localized: Fever blisters have been known to increase with anxiety. However, they are usually localized unless there is a serious problem with immunity. Regular use of anxiety control techniques such as exercise, meditation and medication can reduce anxiety. If they occur they can be managed by the usual medications for fever blisters and will go away within 7 - 9 days.
