Fillings adjusted: It sounds like your fillings are high. Take 600 mg of ibuprofen and 1000 mg of ibuprofen. Have your dentist adjust your fillings. It's sometimes difficult for you to know where your bite normally is while you are numb. It should go away rather quickly once your bite is adjusted. Clenching at night may also be an issue for you so have your dentist evaluate for a night guard. Best of luck!

No: Not if it's a week and it hurts you that much. It might require a bite adjustment or further treatment. Call and let your own dentist know. He\she will probably want to see you to re-evaluate the tooth and see what needs to be done to get you comfortable. Don't just wait or take pain medication. Call for an appointment. Feel better.

Filling is too high: Call your dentist so you can be seen as soon as possible to adjust the filling. Very common complication.
