Combine with Fruit: Use boneless, cooked chicken or turkey roughly chopped (if your baby is capable of chewing soft lumps) or pureed. Try combining meat with a fruit like peach or apple, a combination that babies seem to love and will allow your child to get introduced to a new texture. Good luck.

Wait till 12m : Your baby is telling you that she is not ready for this. I usually start meats around 12 months of age, for his reason! Keep going with fruits and veggies until then. Your breast milk/formula will provide plenty of nutrition and protein! Best of luck! Thanks for trusting Healthtap!

Puree: The best consistency for children at baby food age without teeth is best simplified by blending. You can adjust thickness based on how well your baby likes it, purée setting or nectar thickness are the most popular settings. You may need to experiment a bit to get it right
