Less: Assuming the diagnosis is correct it would be wise to avoid strenuous exercise or any activity that involved frequent bending or lifting. As long as your normal activities(walking, light house work, etc) don't worsen your symptoms there is no reason to curtail them. **Avoid sitting for long periods at a time as this will aggravate a lumbar disc problem.
