Perhaps but be aware: Tendonitis and rupture have been reported with levofloxacin and other anitbiotics of the same class ( highest for ciprofloxacin). Risk factors for tendon disorders include age greater than 60 years, corticosteroid therapy, renal failure, diabetes mellitus, and a history of musculoskeletal disorders. Seek medical attention immediately if symptoms (redness, stiffness, swelling) develop.
