A member asked:

I've had a 23.8 mm lymph node with dominant fatty hilla and a thin mantle it's been this way in my right groin area for 6 months should i get a biopsy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lymph node: The description of this fatty lymph node sounds benign. I would suggest getting a follow up ultrasound in a few months. If it changes I would then suggest an FNA (fine needle aspirate). If you are extremely anxious ask you doctor if you could have an FNA sooner. If it was me I'd opt for a repeat ultrasound in 3 months.
