A member asked:

Just had chalazion eye surgery. doctor told me to do warm compresses and scubs...the rest of the fluid will not drain out. at all. what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Give it time: Usually once chalazion drainage is done it takes a while for the remaining material to liquify and drain. If the opening closes then the chalazion can reoccur. Usually though it'll slowly resolve by itself.
