Would be best: What you most likely have is a chalazion, not a stye. The lump can press on your eye and cause blurring via astigmatism, or it can also blur and irritate the cornea via inflammatory discharge from the area. Chronic blurring can also be caused by the underlying problem (blepharitis). Warm compresses help, but topical or oral antibiotics and/or steroid drops can really aid the healing process.

Yes: A stye if big enough can compress on the eye, or causes the eye lid to droop. These can transiently affect the vision. Try to clean the lid edges (along the lash line) with a q-tip with warm water (baby shampoo is optional) followed by hot compresses at least twice a day usually take care of the problem. If the stye persist after 3 to 4 weeks and bothers you, can see a doctor to have it removed.
