Blepharitis is an inflammation caused by allergies, irritants and dust mites, The best way to care for this condition and prevent Chelazions is to daily scrub your eyelids with specialized Blepharitis pads or wash available at most pharmacies OTC. Keeping hands clean and fingernails short and avoiding touching your eyes can help.

For recurrent chalazia systemic use of tetracycline is necessary . This effects the bacteria in the lid area and changes the fatty composition in the meibomian glands of the lids. Usually need to use for several weeks.
