I had a colonoscopy today. Dr removed some polyps and also collected some biopsies. I'm now beginning to run a fever. Chills & aching. Is this normal?
Sigmoid polyp removed in colonoscopy. Got 2nd gi's opinion + 2nd scope 3 months later. He saw colitis in sigmoid, but biopsies normal. Both gis diagnosis me w ibs. How am i still bleeding and having fevers?

My 69 year old mom had a colonoscopy. Dr removed 2polyps but did not send them for biopsy. He recommended 3yrs instead of 5 to repeat colonoscopy. Can he determine if its adenomas just by looking at polyps? Thanks ?
