My 2yr old was dx with pneumonia and put on meds. she is still getting 102-103 fever when tylenol (acetaminophen) wears off. how long does it take for pneumonia to go?

Talk to Pediatrician: After a few days of appropriate antibiotics your 2 year olds symptoms should be slowly improving. If symptoms seem to only be getting worse I would see pediatrician to determine if another broader-spectrum antibiotic is required. If there are any signs of respiratory distress should be seen in ER for possible IV antibiotics and additional support.

Pneumonia: It can take a few days for the fever to break on the antibiotics, and if it doesn't then needs a follow up bc oral might not be enough and Iv antibiotics might be needed.
