Depends: As a Dentist who does perform phlebotomy in my practice, we usually do not do CBC type blood work, unless there is something specific we are looking for based on the patient's health, and if we are doing that blood work, we will send it out to be done. If your PC did the blood work, they usually send that out, same as I would, but more often as that is part of regular exams in many cases.

Biopsy may be needed: Testing is usually needed when there are warning signs or risk factors suggest a specific disorder, or when lymph node has no apparent cause. If not resolve within 3 or 4 weeks, a biopsy may be needed. I think to see an ENT for additional workup is a good idea.
