Physical therapy helps to rehabilitate, improve and restore function using goal based therapy. Unfortunately, for arthritis in the neck, the pain can be managed but may not completely resolve. Pain and or numbness that radiates down the arm indicates possible nerve impingement. A nerve conduction study can identify this. Cervical fusion is reserved as the last surgical option.

Dr Galima provides a valuable perspective. Have noted that physical therapy is very useful in cervical spondylosis and many improve with motorized cervical traction
