A 37-year-old female asked:
Causes a pea size painful cervial lymph node, no infection present. lots myofascial neck pain and shoulder pain and swelling on that side. normal cbc, c-spine mri, ultrasound done 6 months ago. any other tests tests would be helpful?

Probably normal: Small lymph nodes (like pea-size) are normal. Most likely it was inflamed and maybe now scarred from some distant past infection. Probably unlreated to your pain problem. Check with your doctor if you remain concerned -- but if she reassures you all is well, then no more tests or exams will be necessary.
