See below: Side effects of augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) may include mild diarrhea, gas, stomach pain; nausea or vomiting; headache; skin rash or itching; white patches in your mouth or throat; or. vaginal yeast infection (itching or discharge). Chills and muscle pains may be related to the primary illness. Check with your PCP if concerned
