i woke up with chills, muscle aches, and a headache. a member in my household has the flu. i don't have a fever. could i have the flu? i am 27.

May be start of Flu: You have been exposed to the Flu virus and if you did not get Influenza vaccine you are susceptical to the Flu. It may be the start of flu.I suggest you call your doctor or see him/her so that you can start on Tamiflu (oseltamivir).It will shorten the course of flu and if it is not flu will work as preventive medicine for the contact Other possibility is another viral Upper Respiratory Infection

Mgt: It is quite possible. Tarmiflu can shorten the duration of your illness if you do have the flu.
