Test again: Other causes such as the flu should be investigated as well. Since your symptoms have lingered, testing again is indicated. If you have another negative test, still isolate, drink fluids, monitor temperature and rest. Avoid contacts while ill. PCR is highly accurate, but some cases of COVID 19 may be missed with the first swab. Watch for signs of rapid worsening and see your PCP if this occurs.
