Green Gunk...: In the context of a toddler with a cold this may be a conjunctivitis ( eye infection) that is viral. Your description sounds more purulent and I'd have him examined by a doc. Does he have fever? Any contacts with red eye? Any cold contacts? Are the whites of his eyes white? or pink? Does he seem to be "itchy" or scratching his eyes? The answers to these questions will help figure out therapy
