Call doctor...: When your pediatrician's office opens today, call them and let them know that despite the antibiotics your son hasn't had any improvement. Now, it can take 48-72 hours to notice an improvement with strep; however, since you are near that point your pediatrician may decide to switch the antibiotics. Continue with fever/pain relief and lots of fluids. Hope he feels better soon.
