Impaired fasting glu: A fasting glucose of 118 is not normal, but not diabetes. It is called “impaired fasting glucose”. Normal is 100 or less. Diabetes is 126 or higher. With this condition there is a high chance of progressing to diabetes. You list fatty liver. This is often part of the picture of insulin resistance. Diet/exercise/weight loss is the best treatment at this time. Next would be metformin.
