Insomnia: You can start out with melatonin 3-6mg. If inability to fall asleep or stay asleep treatment may be different approach, old meds like amitripyline and nortripyline could be used. Antihistines such as Benadryl or hydroxyzine can be used. Anxiolytics such as alprazolam or temazepam can be used but the newer ones like ambien, rozerem (ramelteon) and lunesta are used more now. These can cause sleep walking issues
