They interact: Tramadol is a weak ssri so together they may cause a serotonin syndrome.

Serotonin syndrome: You may feel uncomfortable taking both tramadol and zoloft (sertraline) together as the combination can cause serotonin syndrome - shaky, tremulous feeling inside, or worse. Don't take together. Ask your family doctor for something else if you really need something for pain.
