Chemo agent: Vincristine is a chemotherapeutic agent also known as Oncovin (vincristine). It is primarily employed in the treatment of lymphomas and Hodgkins disease, usually in combination with other drugs such as in CHOPP. Side effects include nausea, hair loss and neurologic loss of balance. It works partly by binding to the tubulin protein, stopping the cell from separating its chromosomes during metaphase
