Is it good practice to use a disinfectant such as barbicide to sanitize new grooming/personal items such as a nail clipper or safety razor?

If shared w/ others: If you are the only user, there is no need, although it wouldn't hurt anything. You really shouldn't be sharing such instruments with other persons, such as roommates. But if that's going to happen, or if you're in a commercial setting (e.g. barbershop, manicure salon, etc) they should definitely be cleaned and disinfected between customers. I assume Barbicide® is reliable and effective.
