Yes disinfection: yes simple disinfection is appropriate. you should also replace them at least once a year

Do a bit better: Please wash your utensils with soap and water and then soak in alcohol. It is preferable to get the sanitazion formulas from a beauty equipment store and after thoroughly cleaning soaking in that liquid. Do not share utensils with others. Fungal infections come from this behavior.
