High: From your statement it appears that you had a colon polyp removed. If that is the case you are at higher than normal risk of colonic polyps. It would be prudent to discuss your family history with your doctor and may be get tested to see if you genetic susceptibility for colon cancer.

Likely high: Depending on the nature of the previous polyps, and other risk factors, polyp recurrence can be almost a certainty over time in young patients. In some people, polyps develop quickly. You should review your risk for polyps with whoever did your last colonoscopy.
