Guess diagnosis?: It’s not worth your while getting engaged in this line of reasoning. Your doctor would probably have discussed with you and scheduled future examinations including repeat scopes. Let’s keep it scientific and logical
Dr. Gurmukh Singh
Pathology 49 years experience
Very unlikely: If you are concerned about the dysplastic cells from the poly that was removed, getting into the colon, you need not worry. Do get repeat colonoscopy as advised by your doctor. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Wish you good health!

A 28-year-old member asked:

Will I be able to breastfeed if I have had a breast reduction?

Dr. Robert Benner

No: Most women who have had breast reductions will find it difficult to nurse, and some may find it impossible. There's no harm in trying but it is important to be realistic. The operation relocates the nipple and disrupts the nerves that signal the brain to produce and release breast milk when the baby sucks. Sometimes there is adequate nerve function and with persistence nursing can succeed.

How could a lack of fiber (roughage) in the diet be a cause of colon disease, including colon cancer?

Theories: Of slow bowel activity, build up of bad bacteria creating toxins or toxic environment. And healthy intestinal bacteria with higher fiber diet may cause less colon wall mucosal irritation and less risks for cancer. Also theories of low fat diet and increased exercise lowering colon cancer risks.

Doctor can evaluate: Extreme fatigue by itself is not normal and needs an evaluation. A primary care doctor can look for causes such as anemia, cancer, infections, hormonal imbalances, etc... Significant anemia (not enough blood) or thyroid hormone problems are two of the many possible causes. One can write down a list of symptoms, with a brief description of each, to take to the doctor.

If I have had one seizure in the past is it safe to undergo a light hypnosis for anxiety I do take Dilantin which is a untheroputic level?

Get off it: Dilantin should be relegated to history. It is an old drug of high toxicity and major problems with use. Talk to your doctor about getting off or at least changing to a newer and safer seizure medication.
